Top 10 Best All Inclusive Resorts in Bahamas

With its warm, clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches, and amazing diving and snorkeling, you’ll never regret to book an all-inclusive in Bahamas. The Bahamas stretches for hundreds of kilometers and consists of approximately 700 islands and 2,500 reefs. While many of these islands are abandoned, others, such as the capital city of Nassau and New Providence, home to neighboring Paradise Island, are brimming with hotels and all-inclusive resorts.

Other popular islands worth visiting include Grand Bahama and the outer islands of Great Exuma, where the clarity and color of the water are some of the most beautiful places in the Bahamas. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a family trip, The Bahamas has all-inclusive hotels for travelers of all budgets and styles.

All Inclusive Resorts in Bahamas

Staying at an all-inclusive resort can also take the stress out of planning a vacation and sticking to a budget. Food, drink and many activities are already included, and once you reach these tropical shores you can sit back and relax. Below are our picks for the best all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas.

1. Small Hope Bay Lodge

Small Hope Bay Lodge

Located on Andros Island, Small Hope Bay Lodge is an all-inclusive boutique hotel with just 21 rooms. These cottages are located on the pristine white sand beach opposite the hotel. The resort has been welcoming guests since 1960 and is known for excellent diving and snorkeling on the world’s third largest barrier reef near the hotel. There is a dive shop on the grounds, where you can book excursions. If fishing is your sport, the island is also known for bone fishing and excursions can be easily arranged.

The resort caters to couples and families. If you’re traveling with children, parents who want a night’s rest can use the babysitting service. The hotel also allows pets. The food is buffet but with a lot of variety. Choose from Caribbean comfort fare to international cuisine. Most of the food is locally sourced, including freshly caught fish. There are gluten-free options as well as kids’ options.

2. Pelican Bay Hotel

Pelican Bay Hotel

Located in Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Pelican Cove is a 4-star hotel with all-inclusive package options. Beautifully decorated with soothing blue walls and decorative pillows, the rooms and suites feature private balconies, kitchenettes and microwaves.

Sabor Restaurant serves Bahamian and world classics. Other amenities include beach access, spa, tennis court and swimming pool. 3. Melia Nassau Beach

Cable Beach in Nassau is one of the best beaches in the Bahamas. Melia Nassau Beach – All Inclusive is located in the beautiful part. Located in the Baha Mar holiday complex, this 3-star hotel feels more like a 4-star hotel. The rooms are stylish and modern and the gardens are well kept. Upgrade to The Level for a more luxurious VIP service experience.

There are multiple restaurants here and the food is better than average for all-inclusive resorts. Food is very diverse, from à la carte Italian restaurants to steakhouses and Bahamian buffets. The property is kid-friendly with a kids club and a kiddie pool on the grounds. If you want to play golf, you can book a tee time at the nearby Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole course for an additional fee.

4. Hideaways at Palm Bay

Hideaways in Palm Cove is a comfortable 3-star resort offering all-inclusive packages on the beautiful island of Great Exuma. It’s not a big resort, there is only one restaurant on site but the food is good. Located right on the private white sand beach, Hideaways caters to couples and families in their peaceful properties. Accommodation is in the form of studio apartments and one and two-bedroom cottages as well as one to three-bedroom villas. The cottage has a kitchenette and ocean or garden views. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and dining areas.

Facilities here include free non-motorized water sports and a swimming pool with sun loungers. Located on beautiful Cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas Breeze Resort & Spa is a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who really want all-inclusiveness. It has an “ultra all inclusive” policy, meaning that the price you pay includes all resort fees, tips and surcharges.

If you’re looking for an affordable romantic getaway without the screaming kids, Breeze is a great option as only teenagers over 14 are allowed. Breezes have five restaurants to choose from, including à la carte and buffet. There are also many live events. Choose from skis, trapeze and tennis courts included with free lessons. Rooms and suites are contemporary in style and decorated in a Caribbean style. Most rooms have sea views and private balconies. Out of 7 restaurants serving food from all over the world, you won’t be eating the same thing every night. 8. Grand Island Resort and Spa

Getting to the outer islands of Great Exuma takes a little more effort, but it’s well worth it. The scenery here is some of the most beautiful in the Bahamas – translucent turquoise and emerald waters against sugar white and pink sands. The Grand Isle Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive 4-star hotel located on the Emerald Bay waterfront.

Accommodations on the Grand Isle are villas of various sizes, but all are spacious and modernly furnished. There is a full kitchen, separate living and dining areas, large bedrooms and, in some cases, a jacuzzi. The resort caters to families and couples. Grand Isle is not your typical all-inclusive option as there aren’t multiple restaurants to choose from. There is only one dining option, but the food is excellent, served on the outdoor terrace overlooking the resort’s impressive infinity pool. There is also a 24-hour fitness room on site and non-motorized water sports such as SUP and DIY snorkeling are included in the price.

You can also book an island tour that includes a stop to swim with the sharks and feed the rays. If you want to play golf, there is a Greg Norman-designed championship course that the hotel can help you book (for an additional fee). The on-site spa offers relaxing treatments for an additional fee.
