Then there’s Eilan’s Spa, which is packed with high-end amenities like therapeutic baths, steam rooms, and jacuzzis. The hotel also has a fitness center and yoga studio.

3. La Cantera Resort and Spa

Set in the stunning hills just outside of San Antonio, La Cantera Resort & Spa is the San Antonio getaway you want. The resort used to be a Westin hotel, but in the late 1990s, it became La Cantera with 496 rooms. Imagine wood-beam ceilings, marble floors, and lots of equestrian elements. In fact, you can see a huge oil painting of Assault, who won the 1946 Triple Crown, looking at it in the lobby area.

Rooms starting from 395 square meters for standard rooms are spacious and clean. The resort has four presidential suites ranging in size from 1,000 to 1,700 square feet. They also have separate dining areas. If you are interested in an adults-only room, the entire seventh floor is reserved for guests aged 18 and over. These rooms even have their own check-in procedures. You can also book one of the resort’s villas, located in a separate area surrounded by forests. These rooms have their own golf carts for you to tour around the hotel.

What earns this resort a few extra stars is its spa. The 25,000-square-foot palace-shaped spa is built into a hillside with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
